The fees paid to the Labour Department when applying for the certificate vary based on multiple variables. The main ones being the number of employees, the type of establishment benign started and many others. In case the establishment was sold by the employer to someone else, the sale deed needs to be attached as well.
When amending the information because of typos or errors, the employer's can change the information mentioned, in case of the death of the previous employer, by attaching valid proof which is the death certificate. Changes have to be made to the Shops and Establishment certificate if the business is making changes and loving in a different direction. This follows a separate process but is relevant since the wrong certificate cannot be used for an establishment that changed the initially applied. Furthermore, there is a different fee system that they have to handle regarding this.
If the owner of the establishment is breaking any laws that have been put together, it would be treated as a crime, and they would be punished according to the laws set up. Furthermore, they might lose their certificate as well. The Jharkhand Labour Department reserves the right to cancel the registration, if the details found are fraudulent at any stage of the process.
